Truth or Lies

We started this project due to this time in history when deception is used more often the not, it has become a staple to control people’s thoughts, by influencing, manipulation and sometimes with deadly consequences. The biggest fear that the government has is NOT having the ability to control the hearts and minds of people. Deception is an art used in intelligence communities, their employers can be government, news, social media etc. Polls are one of the basic deceptions used, Polls are rarely neutral, there is always a mandate (goal to manipulate) behind it. Joseph Goebbels :“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.
